Hero Gears A/S are certified according to the quality assurance system DS/EN ISO 9001:2015 which makes us a partner with documented capabilities of meeting complex requirements.
The quality assurance system ensures a coherent quality control from inquiry to delivery of the finished product. We implement ongoing control during the entire process and we will be happy to provide documentation and certificates together with the order.
Documentation could e.g. include:
- Material certificate
- Heat treatment certificate
- Inspection report with selected crucial measurements according to customer requirements.
- Gear inspection according to DIN, AGMA or ISO standards.
- 3D inspection including roundness, cylindricality etc.
- Surface roughness measurement of teeth, diameters and holes.
- Crack inspection report according to the required standard.
- Class approval according to companies such as DNV-GL, BV, ABS, RMRS, RINA etc.
All our items, and thereby also our process control, are customer-specific. We are flexible and we adjust our quality assurance and documentation according to customer wishes and requirements.
An integrated part of our process control takes place through our two super precise 4-axis Klingelnberg gear inspection machines. Compared to standard 3D measuring machines they also have the world’s most precise rotary table which is perfect for cylindrical parts.
